OBJECTIVES

Target high-risk juveniles, especially those on probation or parole and who have dropped out of school, or become truant. In partnership with the Sacramento County Juvenile Probation Department, we foster relationships with incarcerated youth and referrals when they exit Juvenile Hall. Then we can begin the mentoring program and other services.

In the beginning, 2008, our initial approach was to create a sphere of care around each youngster in order to make him or her feel a caring individual is there during the most difficult times. Today, it still remains the same. Being a faith-based organization was always the plan and remains our guide. Utilizing the Biblical verse Ezekiel 22:30 as our fundamental Scriptural principal: “And I sought for a man among them, who should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

We decided early on that each of us, men and women, would “stand in the gap” for God in this land on behalf of troubled youth, so they would not be destroyed. He has found us to do the work and we
are willing. Are you?
